Dr. Le Thi Minh Tu

Earned both her Bachelor’s degree and PhD from the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, specializing in Finance and Insurance. She has many years of experience working at the Insurance Supervisory Authority under the Ministry of Finance, where she has focused on insurance policy research and development, analyzing international practices, and proposing solutions for the development of Vietnam’s insurance market.

Her main research areas include risk management; insurance fraud and claims abuse prevention; digital transformation and the application of technologies (AI, big data) in insurance; as well as disaster insurance, protection gaps, and emerging risks.

With strong research capabilities and an application-oriented approach, Dr. Lê Minh Tú supports learners through an interdisciplinary perspective integrating business, finance, risk management, compliance, and technology in the context of global integration.

Courses she teaches include: Risk Management in Business; Insurance in International Trade and Supply Chains; Anti-Fraud and Compliance in Finance and Insurance; Digital Transformation in Finance and Insurance; and Market and Policy Analysis in Finance and Insurance.

Dr. Hoang Van Hoan

Currently serves as Vice Director of the Institute of International Training. She holds a Master’s degree in Chinese Language, with a strong academic foundation in linguistics and cross-cultural communication.

With over 15 years of experience in international cooperation at the Ministry of Finance, she has actively contributed to numerous bilateral and multilateral collaboration programs and projects. In her leadership and academic roles, she is committed to fostering a modern learning environment, strengthening global partnerships, and equipping students with the competencies and mindset required for international integration.

M.A. Nguyen Van Nam

MA. Nguyễn Văn Nam currently serves as Head of the International Business Department at the Institute of International Training.

He is a PhD candidate in Finance and Banking and holds a Master’s degree in Financial Analysis from La Trobe University. With a strong academic foundation and extensive international teaching experience, he has previously worked as a lecturer at University of Greenwich and Birmingham City University.

His teaching and research focus on international business, finance, and analytical skills, aiming to equip students with a global mindset and the competencies required to thrive in an increasingly integrated world.

CEO Wayne

Is an entrepreneur and fintech innovator with over 20 years of experience spanning design, digital transformation, and financial education. He is the co-founder of Simplyfi™, a capital readiness platform empowering ASEAN SMEs with tools for forecasting, valuation, and investor matching. As Academy Director of the Simplyfi, Wayne has led regional efforts to elevate over 1,000 businesses by standardizing corporate finance training and investor access.

Wayne began his career in creative industries, later moving into education technology, where he served as a key EdTech partner for the Ministry of Education in Singapore. He is a Qualified Management Consultant (MIMC).

Wayne is also the architect behind Bingo, a flagship SME program focused on demystifying financial modeling and valuation. Through his work, Wayne champions the democratization of corporate finance by making professional-grade forecasting and valuation accessible and affordable to small businesses.

M.A. Vu Van Quyen

Currently serves as Head of the Soft Skills Department at the FBU International School. He is a PhD candidate in Finance and Banking and holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Banking from Hanoi Financial and Banking University.

With over 10 years of teaching experience in corporate financial analysis, he is also a soft skills training expert. In addition, he has served as a Producer and General Director for numerous programs and events in education, corporate sectors, and local government agencies. This combination of financial expertise and hands-on experience in program management enables him to deliver a modern, practice-oriented teaching approach.

In his academic role, M.A. Vu Van Quyen focuses on equipping students with analytical thinking, practical skills, and adaptability, empowering them to confidently thrive in dynamic and globally integrated learning and working environments.

M.A. Duong Thi Men

Is currently a lecturer at the Institute of FBU – International School. She holds a Master’s degree in International Economics from VNU University of Economics and Business.

With over 15 years of experience in the finance and banking sector, she has been responsible for International Payments and Service Business at Vietcombank and Shinhan Bank. In addition, she has 5 years of experience managing import–export operations within a corporate environment.

The combination of strong academic grounding and extensive practical experience enables Ms. Dương Thị Mến to deliver in-depth, practice-oriented knowledge in international economics, finance and banking, and global trade

M.A. Nguyen Hai Long

Holds a Master’s degree in Business and Finance from the University of Warwick (United Kingdom) and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking from the Academy of Finance. He is currently pursuing a PhD at the Academy of Finance, further strengthening his academic and research capabilities.

He has professional experience in accounting and finance. In addition, he has been actively involved in teaching Academic English and IELTS, supporting students in developing language proficiency and essential skills for academic and international environments.

His academic and teaching interests focus on Macroeconomics and Microeconomics.

Tran Thi Minh Anh

Is a Teaching Assistant in the Soft Skills Department. She graduated with a dual degree in Finance and Banking, and Financial Accounting under the international joint program between the Academy of Finance and the University of Greenwich (United Kingdom). She holds an IELTS certificate with a score of 6.0, meeting the language requirements for an international academic and professional environment.

She is currently involved in teaching and supporting the development of soft skills training programs for students. Prior to this role, she worked as an accountant in a corporate setting, gaining practical experience in finance and accounting.

With an internationally oriented academic background and hands-on professional experience, she is committed to supporting students in developing essential skills, professional mindset, and adaptability for today’s dynamic working environment.

Administrative Officer:

Tran Viet Hung

Graduated with a degree in Construction Economics from University of Transport Technology. He holds an IELTS score of 7.5 and currently serves as an academic advisor, while directly teaching short-term Academic English courses, supporting students in enhancing their language proficiency and international study skills.

With over 10 years of experience working in the IELTS division at IDP Education, he possesses not only strong professional expertise but also a deep understanding of learners’ pathways and challenges. Accordingly, he develops practical, personalized teaching approaches aligned with each student’s goals.

In addition, as a member of the editorial board for international scientific conferences, he contributes to bridging academic knowledge with practical training. In his advisory role, he maintains a supportive and student-centered approach, focusing on academic orientation, skills development, and empowering students to confidently integrate into global learning and working environments.

Trinh Van Toan

Graduated with a major in Finance and Banking from Hanoi Financial and Banking University. With a solid academic foundation and extensive experience in the educational environment, he has developed strong expertise in student management, support, and development.

He has held key leadership positions in youth and student organizations, including Member of the Executive Committee of the Hanoi Students’ Association, Member of the Standing Committee of the University Youth Union, President of the FBU Students’ Association, and President of the FBU Alumni Association. These roles have contributed to his well-developed capabilities in organization, coordination, and effective student engagement.

In addition, with 8 years of experience as a Rowing Coach at the Hanoi Sports Training Center, he demonstrates a disciplined, persistent, and highly responsible working style. As an academic advisor, he maintains a close and supportive approach, focusing on students’ personal development, soft skills enhancement, and career orientation, thereby contributing to a positive and holistic learning environment.
